Café in the AXA Pavilion – Timeless 1960s charm revived

The pavilion from the 1960s was carefully renovated in 2014 to preserve the two-story skeleton structure in the style of Mies van der Rohe.

The café on the ground floor has now been redesigned. Floors, walls, and ceilings were preserved, and the iconic aesthetic of the 60s was consciously embraced. New furnishings meet carefully selected vintage classics. Warm colors, colorful fabric curtains, and lush greenery create a cozy, inviting atmosphere.

Today, the café is a place to linger – in comfortable armchairs, browsing through photo books from the era. Perfect for an aperitif at the newly styled bar made of applewood and handmade Portuguese tiles, or on the terrace overlooking the biodiversity garden. A piece of 60s flair, interpreted in a modern way.
